Ignacio Early Learning Program is a high-quality preschool for children ages 2-5. We offer a loving environment while teaching the basic fundamentals of learning. We believe that for children to thrive during their early years and as they move on to kindergarten, their social and emotional needs must be met first. Our passion at IELP is supporting children and families in all areas to ensure growth and a strong foundation in life.

We teach Creative Curriculum and a learn through exploration approach. We support social/emotional health by incorporating the TLC (Tender Loving Care) curriculum. Our teachers and staff complete training hours through Colorado Shines to stay knowledgeable in Early Childhood Education. IELP works closely with San Juan Boces for children in need of special educational services, Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) to provide funding for at risk children and CCCAP, a funding source provided through La Plata County Department of Human Services.

Our program consists of three classrooms. Two pre-k classrooms and one toddler classroom. Our highly qualified teachers work in teams to teach 16 children per classroom. Our hours are 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. We close for holidays and in-service days. We use In-service days to further our trainings and ECE education.
